From Passive Income to Real Estate Domination

When I first started my YouTube journey, my goal was simple: create a passive income stream. I saw YouTube as a platform that paid for views, and if I happened to land a few real estate clients along the way, that would be a nice bonus. At the time, I had no idea just how powerful this platform could be.
Like many realtors, I was focused on traditional methods—cold calls, networking events, referrals. YouTube was just an experiment, a side project to bring in some extra revenue. I barely knew anything about algorithms, or audience engagement. But as I started uploading videos, something unexpected happened.
I began to notice a shift. My content wasn’t just bringing in ad revenue—it was attracting real, high-intent buyers and sellers. I wasn’t chasing leads anymore; they were coming to me. Over time, I realized that YouTube wasn’t just a passive income machine—it was a business growth accelerator.
Fast forward a few years, and my perspective has completely changed. YouTube has 10x’d my real estate business, transformed the way I communicate with clients, and given me a level of influence I never thought possible. It’s more than a marketing tool—it’s a personal brand builder, trust generator, and 24/7 sales machine.
I went from knowing almost nothing about video to leveraging YouTube as my most powerful asset. And now, I’m here to share everything I’ve learned.
If you’re a realtor looking for a way to scale your business, attract more clients, and close deals even while you sleep, you’re in the right place. Let’s dive in.
My Journey “The Impact of YouTube”
From Construction to YouTube and Real Estate Success

Back in the 2000s, I moved from Poland to New York City, determined to make it in the big city. I spent over a decade working in the construction industry, quickly climbing the ranks in Manhattan. But despite my professional growth, I wasn’t happy. I knew I needed a change.
I had always been fascinated by how brands and individuals marketed themselves through video. One day, I started watching YouTube videos, mainly property tours, and was instantly hooked. Along the way, I became friends with the local Brooklyn broker. He was a genuine guy, and an idea struck me—why not purchase videography equipment and start creating videos for him and other local realtors? This could be my way out of construction.
Long story short, I took a leap of faith. I spent all my savings to buy high-quality equipment, joined a videography school, and learned everything I could. Finally, I was ready to shoot my first video. I was terrified! It was something new, and we always fear what we don’t fully understand.
I landed my first gig, filming a property or my first broker in Brooklyn, then shot a few more in Manhattan. I started loving what I did—my life had new colors! But this was only the beginning.
At the time, I was still juggling two jobs: part-time videographer and full-time construction worker. One evening, after leaving the subway at Metropolitan Ave in Queens, I noticed a pile of books next to the garbage. I often picked up books—free education, why not?—and one caught my eye: How to Prepare for the Real Estate Exam. I grabbed it without thinking much, figuring I’d read it just to learn something new.
I started the book but soon left it aside. Then one day, my broker and I had a conversation about my future. I told him I wanted to leave my job but needed to scale my video business first. He looked at me and said, “Robert, why not join real estate with me? Come to my Brooklyn office, meet my agents, attend our evening meetings—see if you like it. Imagine combining your videography skills with real estate as an agent!”
The idea was tempting, but also terrifying. My English wasn’t perfect, and real estate was serious business. There would be a lot to learn, beyond just becoming a licensed realtor. But I took the plunge. In 2017, I completed all the required courses at the New York Real Estate Institute (NYREI) and soon after passed the exam, becoming a licensed real estate agent in NYC. To this day, even though I now live in Texas, I still close deals with my old Brooklyn brokerage remotely, thanks to the trust I built with clients between 2017-2020.

The Big Move to Texas
As time passed, I started looking for a state with more opportunities and lower living costs. I married my wife in Brooklyn in 2017, and we dreamed of living somewhere warmer with fewer financial burdens. Some of our friends had moved to Texas and spoke highly of it. So, we decided to check it out. We landed in San Antonio one day and fell in love with the place. Long story short, we made the move in 2020 during the pandemic.
Once again, I was starting from scratch. I quickly got my Texas real estate license and joined eXp Realty. But all my past clients were back in NYC, so I had to build my business from the ground up. I used all the traditional methods I had learned in New York, but sales were slow. I needed to scale up.
That’s when I stumbled upon one of the top YouTubers in real estate—Enes Yilmazer, the master of luxury property tours. Watching his videos, I realized that I could make money from YouTube. At first, I didn’t see it as a way to grow my real estate business—I just wanted to have fun creating videos and earn some extra cash. But within a year, my YouTube income was covering my rent. Today, it pays for my mortgage.
The Power of YouTube in Real Estate
What started as a side project quickly became something much bigger. YouTube wasn’t just a source of passive income—it became a 24/7 prospecting machine, bringing me new leads daily. As of today, I own four YouTube channels, and I plan to create more in the future.
In this book, you’ll learn more than just another YouTube strategy or how to go viral fast. You’ll learn the fundamentals of how to use this platform efficiently, the core principles of building a successful channel, and a deep insight into my journey.
Most importantly, I want to show you that you can do this too. You can increase your real estate sales, build a brand, and create a lead-generating machine using this incredible (and free!) platform.
So, let’s dive into the first chapter and unlock the power of YouTube for real estate success!
