Robert Rutkowski’s journey began in Poland, where he started working at a young age and developed the strong work ethic that would shape his entire career.

Construction was always part of his life. Robert’s father worked in the construction industry for almost four decades, spending 35 years building projects throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan, two of the most demanding construction environments in the world. Watching his father dedicate his life to the craft of building left a lasting impact on Robert and shaped the discipline and standards he carries today.

​

After moving to New York City, Robert followed a similar path and entered the construction industry in Manhattan. There, he gained valuable experience both as a worker and later from a management perspective, working on complex projects for highly demanding clientele where precision, quality, and accountability were non-negotiable.

​

Working under the pressure of Manhattan construction projects taught Robert patience, strategic thinking, and the importance of planning every step of a project from start to finish. In that environment, you don’t think only about today or tomorrow; you carefully plan the entire process until completion.

 

For Robert, clarity became a professional principle. There are no questions left unanswered when major decisions are at stake. Recently, Robert experienced a deeply personal loss when his father passed away unexpectedly. After his passing, Robert made a personal promise to build his life and career in a way that would make his father proud.

In 2016, Robert stepped away from construction and entered the world of real estate. At the time, he didn’t yet realize that his background in construction and his future in real estate would eventually merge into one unique specialty.

After relocating to Texas, Robert quickly recognized the opportunity to represent clients throughout the custom home building process, where his construction knowledge became a powerful advantage.

Today, with 15+ years of construction experience and over a decade in real estate, Robert brings a rare combination of expertise. He understands not only how to buy and sell real estate, but also every stage of how homes are built, from foundation to final details.

Robert has interviewed many custom home builders across Texas, gaining valuable insight into their building process, philosophy, and track record. This experience has given him a unique perspective on the industry, allowing him to clearly see the difference between builders who simply make promises and those who consistently deliver exceptional craftsmanship and results. As a result, Robert works only with carefully vetted and pre-selected builders who have demonstrated their ability to build at a high level.

This unique combination of construction heritage, real-world building experience, and deep industry insight allows Robert to guide clients through the custom home building journey with clarity, confidence, and precision—helping them choose the right land, the right builder, and the right strategy from the very beginning.

In 2015, while still working in construction in Manhattan, Robert decided to expand his skills in a completely new direction. He enrolled in film school, where he learned professional video production, cinematography, and editing.

Visual storytelling came naturally to him. Photography had already been a personal hobby since his teenage years, and film school gave him the opportunity to develop those creative instincts into a professional skill.

At the time, Robert was also beginning to think about transitioning out of construction. To explore that path, he launched a small side business providing real estate photography and videography services to agents in Manhattan.

 

Between 2015 and 2017, Robert worked with several real estate agents while continuing to work full-time in construction. During that period, one agent asked him a simple question that would ultimately change the direction of his career:

“Why don’t you become a Realtor?”

Robert’s response was simple:

“Why not?”

In 2016, Robert became a licensed real estate agent, not realizing at the time that his background in video production would eventually become one of the most powerful advantages in his real estate career.

 

Today, Robert connects with many future clients through video marketing and his widely viewed YouTube channel. Through video, he is able to showcase homes in a more engaging way while reaching buyers not only locally, but also those relocating to Texas from across the country and around the world.
